2017 - Values Based Spiritual Living
CSL THEME: March - Spiritual Living through Education and Continuous Improvement: We walk a path of awakening, growth, and spiritual deepening through classes, workshops, seminars and spiritual practices that allow us to embrace education as a lifelong endeavor. We consistently welcome more and more of the Divine Nature to be realized within us and revealed through our relationships, our decisions and our contributions to the world.

There are several upcoming Teens Fundraising Events – Please refer to the Teen Information Center in Fellowship Hall.
“Prosperity Plus 2” with Christine Egan and Benjamin Blackett starts this Wednesday, March 29th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm – Child care will be provided from 6:15pm to 8:45pm – please sign up at the information center.
A new and exciting 6-week class with Kathy Black called, “Divine Appreciation” starts on April 13th from 6:30pm to 8pm – Please see details and signup sheet at the Information Center.

Fellowship Hall will be closed from 8am to 6pm, this Saturday, April 1st for our Foundations Class retreat. Previous Foundations Class graduates are welcome to attend. The Retreats starts at 9am.
Our first monthly live streaming trilingual service will be Friday April 21st at 7pm – all are invited. – we welcome folks for training to live stream this beautiful event – If interested, please see Rev Ian.
Sunday April 30th will be our annual community meeting immediately after our celebration service. Everyone is invited to attend; However, membership is required for voting.
ON GOING PROGRAMS
We are thrilled as we continue to offer babysitting on Sundays. We also offer Children spiritual education and Spiritual Programs for Teens and Parents.
Visioning for the highest good for Concordia is open to everyone at 8:30am every Sunday morning, in the upstairs office near the vestibule.
Our licensed Practitioners are available for spiritual support, please contact any Practitioner personally. You may also submit treatment request cards.
Practitioners are also available to perform spiritual mind treatments with you today during Fellowship and can be identified by their stoles.

Teen Fundraising Events:
Sunday, April 2nd – Teen Tech Day 10:30-12:30. – Joan James & Matt Black. Members of Concordia bring their electronics, ie: cell phones, lap tops etc. and teens will be available after service to help them answer questions. LOVE DONATION
Sunday, April 9th 11-noon. - Teen SOM Workshop offered to Concordia Congregation after service. Adults: Sarah/Joan –LOVE donation. Following this workshop –we plan to introduce The Sponsor a Teen to go to CSL Summer Camp in California.
April 10th - EAT AT CHIPOTLE, 5-9 p.m. ONLY (AIRPORT BLVD LOCATION ONLY) Eat at Chipotle and bring a flyer in (see attachment) between the hours of 5-9 p.m. only—and 50% of the proceeds raised during this time will be donated to CSL teens. So please spread the word and help us distribute flyers to any and everyone you know. Customer must present the flyer before they pay.
Saturday, May 13 – Concordia Yard Sale & Book Sale. 9:00 – 2:00p.m. – We’re asking members of our congregation, including teens to donate items to be sold; ie: books, DVDs, clothing, furniture and household items that are in good condition. Location: Concordia Center. This was a huge success last year—We need lots of help organizing, pricing, hanging signs, directing traffic, sales, etc.
ALSO – YARD/BOOK SALE COLLECTION & SORTING at Concordia Friday May 12 4:40 – 7:00.
Saturday, May 20th – 7-9:30 p.m. - Concordia’s Got Talent- Talent Show & Bake Sale – This was a huge hit last year and is back by popular demand. Start thinking about a talent that you’d like to share—some ideas include: comedy skit, dance, singing, musical instrument anything goes—remember Concordia is a safe and judgement free zone.
*SPONSOR A TEEN FOR SUMMER CAMP OUTREACH TO COMMUNITY – We plan on kicking off this campaign following the workshop you will be offering the community on Sunday, April 9th. Sponsor of a full teen = $1,400; ½ teen = $700, 1/3 teen =$470; 1/3 teen =$350; 1/4 teen=$350: we would also be extremely grateful for any other donation that is comfortable for the donor.
